Finding a synagogue for the High Holy Days

Here is a list of Masorti Shuls in the UK with space over Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur, with booking details provided.  There are also streamed services available, for people excluded by mobility issues.  Nobody should be alone for the High Holy Days this year.

Ohel Moed 

Ohel Moed will be hosting Egalitarian peer-led services this year for Rosh Hashanah, both days (not evenings) and all services for Yom Kippur. Services will be in Golders Green. Details on www.ohelmoed.co.uk

New London Synagogue 

Join us for what promises to be a beautiful and memorable High Holy Day season and celebrate with New London Synagogue.  Services will be led by Rabbi Jeremy Gordon, Rabbi Natasha Mann and our two Cantorial Leads, David Djemal and Yoav Oved. 

Booking is open to buy visitor tickets. Applications for tickets will be subject a security check; we hope you understand. Visitor tickets are not posted and all online ticket orders are collected at the entrance. Please bring photo ID when you arrive which will be checked against our list of ticket purchases. 

New London Synagogue members will receive their High Holy Day tickets in the post and should log in at https://shulcloud.newlondon.org.uk/ before purchasing tickets for their friends and family members.

New Essex Masorti 

All services will be held locally. Guests and non-members are very welcome, but please email the office to let them know you are coming, at [email protected]

New Stoke Newington Synagogue

Registration for our High Holy Day services for non-members is now closed.

Kol Nefesh Masorti Synagogue

​Kol Nefesh Masorti Synagogue in Edgware are happy to receive guests but please let them know in advance which services they would like to attend by contacting [email protected]. They don’t charge for guests but do appreciate donations. Non-members are very welcome to all of our services and study sessions. Mosaic Masorti has a number of available tickets for the High Holy Days. Please contact [email protected] for more information.

Leeds Masorti 

Leeds Masorti will be offering a Rosh Hashanah day two service and a Yom Kippur event. Contact [email protected]  or [email protected] for more information. Guest welcome for services and for Kiddush/break-fast

St Albans Synagogue

St Albans has a full schedule for the High Holy Days.  They welcome visitors and guests of members as they have spaces at all their services.  Please ask email [email protected] for more information. There is no charge for the tickets, but a donation is appreciated.
