Adam is a member of New North London Synagogue, which he joined about 25+ years ago. Both he and his wife, Nicola, come from Masorti families (Edgware Masorti Synagogue and New London Synagogue) and were married by Rabbi Louis Jacobs at the New London Synagogue. By day (and night), he is a solicitor, and a Partner at Mishcon de Reya, where he specialises in data protection and technology law. On the Board, he helps with legal issues and strategy. He was born in Southend, grew up in Brazil, went to Manchester Uni, and very recently discovered Sephardi roots. He is also trustee of other Jewish community charities: UJS, JCORE and JYF. He has three children: Joseph (a maths teacher), Rachel (who worked for Noam), and Benji.
