Claire is an education and safeguarding leader with extensive experience across education, community engagement, and organisational leadership. She currently serves as Deputy Head of Safeguarding at the United Synagogue and prior to this role, Claire was the Director of Education at New North London Synagogue.
Originally trained as a secondary school History teacher,
Claire spent more than fourteen years working in education and holds a Master of Education (Leading Teaching and Learning) from the University
of Cambridge. She is the founder of Family Lowdown, a global online parenting and family community that has engaged more than one million members. Through this work, she has been recognised for her contribution to community support and social impact, receiving the Prime Minister’s Points of Light Award. Claire is a published best-selling author, speaker and advocate for children, young people, and families.
