Artificial intelligence is transforming our world and raising profound ethical and religious questions. While many faith leaders have begun to address these challenges, Rabbi Daniel Nevins is among the first leading halakhic scholars to explore how Judaism can engage with AI while remaining firmly rooted in the principles of traditional Jewish life.
Rabbi Nevins’ recent work on artificial intelligence reflects the wisdom, scholarship and pastoral sensitivity of a rabbi willing to wrestle seriously with the most important questions of our age.
Drawing on decades of experience in contemporary Halakhah, he offers a thoughtful Jewish framework for navigating a rapidly changing technological landscape.
It is particularly fitting that Rabbi Nevins will be addressing the UK Jewish community just as he prepares to begin his new role as Senior Rabbi of the New North London Synagogue.
Rabbi Nevins has served on the Rabbinical Assembly’s Committee on Jewish Law and Standards since 1999, authoring responsa on contemporary halakhic issues as well as essays, prayers and Torah commentaries.
