New Stoke Newington Shul
The New Stoke Newington Shul (NSNS) is a young and growing community that meets for Shabbat services and to mark the major festivals. Our rabbi is Roni Tabick, who also serves as the assistant rabbi at New North London Synagogue. We don’t have a building of our own – yet – so we meet in members’ homes and other local venues. We welcome all newcomers, of whatever generation, affiliation or level of knowledge.
We like to think our services have the best of tradition – mostly in Hebrew, with all the familiar melodies – and the best of modernity, with men and women taking a full and equal part in services. In addition to services we hold regular, informal study sessions, festival celebrations and social events. Our community spans all ages and includes families, singles, young adults and more.
If you live in Hackney, Haringey, Highbury, Hoxton or Islington and are looking for a community, New Stoke Newington Shul could be just right for you.
